Getting started is fast and easy. Complete our appearance request form by including the details of the case and uploading any pertinent documentation.

Setting up an account is free and allows your entire firm to schedule hearings, view results, track appearances, and upload the documents for your case(s). There is no limit to the number of users per account.

Once your appearance request is submitted, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your request. Before the appearance request is sent to the appearing attorney, our calendaring teams reviews each request form to verify that all the information is complete. Once an appearance attorney is assigned and confirmed, a representative from our office will contact you to confirm coverage.

Yes. Our secure, user-friendly website allows you to upload all documents needed for the appearance directly to the website. You will find an option to upload documents on the appearance request form. You may log into your account at any time to upload and/or view the documentation for past, current and future hearings. Please indicate in your request if original documents need to be mailed for your hearing. Our calendaring team will send you the contact information for the appearing attorney.

Yes. Although advance notice is preferred, our calendaring team begins the coverage process as soon as the request is received. We will immediately contact your office if there is an issue with covering the appearance.

No. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your request immediately after submission. If you do not receive this email, please give our office a call or send us a message.

CAP's network of attorneys are able to accommodate many requests, even last minute cases. Same day hearing requests are usually covered promptly, but our team will let you know immediately if there is an issue with your appearance. You will be contacted once your appearance is covered.

Yes. Please indicate in your appearance request that you need the appearing attorney to obtain additional documentation from the Court.

Appearances are priced on a flat fee basis and usually range between $65.00 - $125.00. Rates vary depending on the location and type of hearing. No. You will never be charged late or cancellation fees. However, if we receive a cancellation notice while the appearing attorney is in Court, there may be a charge. Please let us know about your cancellation as soon as possible so we may notify the appearance attorney.

Yes. Please indicate on your appearance request form if the appearing attorney needs to pay Court fees, such as Ex Parte costs or filing fees. The additional fees will be added to your invoice. Please note that CAP does not advance first appearance fees.

Yes. Price limits on fees are set for multiple hearings. The discount will vary depending on the number of hearings. For more information or a quote, please send us a message or call our office at 800-637-6922.

CAP accepts checks and all major credit cards. Please make checks payable to Court Appearance Professionals. Invoices may be viewed through your account online.

Yes. All attorneys are verified prior to being on-boarded by CAP. Every three months CAP will conduct an additional verification to ensure they are in good standing with the state bar. Learn more details about Our Attorney Network.
